There’s something undeniably magical about a winter wedding, and Natalie & Jonah’s day at Silver Spoon Barn proved it. From the beginning, their story was beautiful—from a romantic engagement session at Unity Village to their heartfelt vows in Joplin. Altogether, the day was filled with joy, warmth, and so much love, creating a celebration no one will forget.
Before the wedding day even arrived, I had the chance to photograph their engagement session at Unity Village near Kansas City. Surrounded by fountains, florals, and European-style architecture, it set the tone for what would become a deeply heartfelt wedding season for these two.
The Silver Spoon Barn offers a mix of rustic charm and clean elegance—perfect for couples who want a space that feels cozy, yet elevated. The grand staircase is a standout feature that leads straight to the ceremony aisle. It’s not just beautiful—it’s built to create that “take your breath away” entrance.
One thing I loved about this venue: the indoor wraparound balcony. It gives a unique overhead perspective for photos and offers the couple space to sneak away and soak it all in.
The warmth between Natalie and Jonah came through in every look, every hug, every quiet in-between moment. They didn’t rush or stress. They were present with each other and with everyone who showed up to celebrate them.
Watching Natalie walk down the staircase toward Jonah was one of those moments you don’t forget. His expression said everything.
The rest of the evening felt exactly how a winter wedding should: inviting, joyful, and full of connection. The dance floor never cleared, and laughter carried through the barn all night long.
Every detail felt true to them—thoughtful, relaxed, and full of love.
Natalie and Jonah, thank you for trusting me to document this season. Truly, your day was beautiful, yes—but even more than that, it was intentional, meaningful, and grounded in everything that really matters.
If you’re dreaming up your own winter wedding at The Silver Spoon Barn or somewhere just as cozy—I’d love to help tell your story. Let’s connect!
